Key Functions
- Needs assessment : work with the end user/ user
group to understand their equipment needs as part of the user group
meetings
- Specification and RFP development: Write in detail the
functionality of the equipment required and the terms of it functional
and technical requirements
- Bidding and bid analysis: Work with the purchasing
procedures of the client in sending, receiving and reviewing the bid
responses in the context of functional and technical specifications.
Resolve issues with exceptions taken if any
- Negotiations of Best and Final Offer: After the bid
analysis work with the vendor to get a revised offer and resolve the
exceptions with bid specifications etc.
- Ordering with final terms and conditions: Place the
final order stipulating the delivery location and other applicable
terms including the delivery schedule in keeping with the construction
schedules
- Receiving and staging: Arrange to receive and stage
the medical equipment, ensure light assembly and tag for final
location as per equipment drawings
- Installation and placement : Ensure proper
placement and start-up received / delivered equipment .Co-ordinate
proper testing where required.
- Develop punch list of deficiencies and resolve them
- Hand over to the owner/user for start-up
