CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION Provide equipment coordination,
specifications
Key Functions
- Meet with the facility administrative and clinical staff to
develop specification criteria, standards,preferences,and priorities
to assure consistency with program objectives
- Based on input received from the user, prepare equipment
specifications for contractor furnished contractor installed (CFCI)
equipment items for inclusion in Division 11 of the construction
documents.Where possible, minimum of three qualified vendors for each
equipment item will be specified.
- Provide coded and cross-referenced equipment catalog
cut-sheets for all equipment which will have dimensions, and all
utility requirements for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
services. Where required Seismic related information will be provided.
- Provide a computerized report of Owner Furnished
Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment items showing quantity and
locations so that the contractor can accurately bid on the
installation portion of the equipment.
- Provide responses as required to the architectural and
engineering team members’ RFI’s in resolving outstanding issues
concerning equipment.
- Coordinate and update the equipment program frequently as
required, during construction document phase, to incorporate equipment
changes resulting from architectural revisions
- Provide final approved construction equipment
documentation and budget reports for distribution as required.
