Pre- inventory meeting with the owner to establish inventory guidelines, inventory schedule and other issues to be defined. Perform a physical inventory of existing medical equipment on a room-by-room basis for all clinical departments identified on inventory schedule. Prepare computerized equipment inventory report to include: 

- Objective evaluation of equipment: - Excellent: definite re-use possibility. 

- Good: probable possibility for re-use. 

- Fair: marginal possibility for re-use. 

- Poor: not to be re-used. 

- Equipment dimensions. - Utility requirements: - Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.

Key Functions. 

• Meet with the facilities clinical and technical staff to determine the level of quality and performance of the existing equipment.

• Provide list of existing equipment that is approved for re-use. Incorporate the existing equipment into the equipment database for systematic processing and reporting function.
